Several fan made remakes of classic Castlevania games have been made in the style of Castlevania Chronicles, including Castlevania Chronicles 2, 3, one of the Gameboy games, and now Super Castlevania 4:
Keep in mind this is just a demo, and all the games so far have gone through levels of polish and feedback before release, as well as bug fixes post launch:
