Saw Amiibo's discussed a little on the last page and not sure of they have been discussed very in depth yet but....
- Do you think they will produce Ammibos for the third party characters (sonic, megaman, pacman) or probably not?
- will you take into consideration the Amiibo's number of titles/potential usefulness outside of smash when purchasing or pick characters that may only ever be used in smash?
- in conjunction witht the last point, do you think they will actually make Amiibo's of all of the super smash characters or just those that will have other games releasing in the future (so no ROB, Game and Watch,
)
- do you think the Amiibo's launching with smash increases the chance of any smash characters making their way to titles not typically featuring them to increase there usefulness (Kirby making it into MK or Mario Party?)
For me personally,
- no which sucks cuz I really wanted a megaman amiibo
- I don't have a ton of disposable income so I will probably prioritize by usefulness in future titles as well (as much as I want Sheik, DeDeDe, and Little Mac I will probably just get Link, Mario, and maybe Bowser)
- it seems so far the characters they have shown are multi-game characters so not sure they will have them for Every character
- I could see Kirby and DeDeDe being DLC characters for MK or Mario Party

The devs have confirmed in interviews that the plan is to release Amiibo figures for every character on the roster.

Edit: I still wonder about the 3rd party characters inclusion or if Amiibo's were discussed when licensing the character to guest star in the game
Pit and Palutena for me.
Like I said, they've indicated in interviews that they plan to release figures for every character on the roster. I'm sure this was all worked out when it was decided to include those characters in the first place. And who knows, maybe the third parties get a cut of each sale on figures of their characters.

I'm so buying the amiibos of Marth, Pit, Ness, Villager and Game&Watch.
Samus and Ike are at the top of my hypothetical list. If I get any more, they'd probably be limited to Marth, Lucas, Ganondorf and maybe Palutena. Though if by some divine prank Ridley was playable, no force could stop me from obtaining both his amiibo and the construction equipment required to carry it.

There are a few other characters I wouldn't mind having little figures of, but they have much better versions to try to get at some point, like the Pit, Samus, and upcoming Lucina figma that may make me less excited about Ike, Marth, and Chrom... though they might still happen. Particularly Marth. That Lucina figma has been in the pipeline forever, and I do like playing as the FE guys...
Also, probably Peach. Just because her Smash dress has always been awesome.

Except for the games that have more functionality with an specific amiibo released for that game (They confrimed it would work like that, amiibos have data of the game they belong, + extra data that could be used for other games)
These figurines are the best and worst thing ever. I'm going to buy several of them absolutely but probably won't ever use them in game. More companies need to just make awesome figures of their characters.

I like Chrom, but Frederick will always be #1 in my Awakening heart.
That's ok. I don't plan on buying multiple versions of the same characters just for extra functionality lol.
Frederick's amazing. I would have married him, but his supports with Cordelia were hilarious. It's a shame he won't be in Smash as anything more than either a trophy or part of Chrom's moveset...

His Cordy supports made me sad. ;_; (My Robin was male, so I couldn't marry him unfortunately. I actually kept my three favorite dudes as bachelors because I couldn't have them.) XD
I hope he does have a presence in Smash other than some random sticker or something. A trophy would be good, being an Assist Trophy, or being part of Chrom's moveset would be even better.
I'd be pissed if he didn't make it in because I love the character and I LOVED how he played in Brawl. Legit my third favorite character in the game besides MK and Marth.

Right now I only plan to buy the Palutena and Rosalina Amiibos, but I'm sure I'll end up buying a ton more on impulse purchases when ever I see them in a store.
