I think the launch software will be key. I'm not a big fan of modern 3D Zelda but wasn't the hype around BOTW (and having MK8 soon after launch) a big part of the Switch's success and the lack of a great Nintendo game at launch part of the Wii U failing?

I remember the days of the PS2 leading up to release. Me and my Brother put away some of our weekly allowances away like 4 months out from the release. We were ready at the $300 price tag. Sticker shock was irrelevant.

I wasn't impressed with how Mario Kart 9 looked compared to mario kart 8 in terms of graphics. I am expecting this to be a day one title.

I love mario kart. its my main reason to buy a Switch 2. so ill have to wait and see more.

I am i am not interested in fighting scalpers and bots. if there are plenty of stocks i might grab one if the price is right. at 500$ ill pass because that will put it towards close to 850$ Canadian after tax. not interested in paying much for a portable.
