How come I never heard of this band before? Heard a song of theirs (Dare you?) on the radio today and I'm gonna buy their album(s) on my lunchbreak :D

They got real big with their song, "Meant to Live" (this was like a few months ago i think). I bought the cd as well after hearin that song, and I wasn't dissapointed at all.

It's a decent album with the two best tracks being the singles. Some others on there are pretty good though.

Also good on this album (The Beautiful Letdown) are "This is your life", "24", "Gone" and "On Fire." You might also like the riffs on "Ammunition."

This happens to be my favorite band in the whole entirety of the universe.

If you ever run into me, this is the shirt you'll most likely find me wearing (assuming it's not the winter)

The song "Dare You To Move" first debuted on their album before The Beautiful Letdown called Learning To Breathe which I feel is a stronger album from them. They have 2 other albums beside that: The Legend of Chin and New Way To Be Human. I recommend all of them.

I like what I've heard so far. I'll go back and snag the "Learning to Breathe" tomorrow (only other one they had) :)

I saw something at K-Mart that was a 3 disc set and had all of their early albums on it for only $15.99. I might have to get that.

Great band with a unique sound. I like their first album the most because I feel it's the most original of all of them.

Good Christian Bands
Caedmon's Call
Jars of Clay
Switchfoot
Sixpence none the Richer

You pretty much nailed them. I would add just a couple: Lifehouse and Relient K.

Burlap to Cashmere was also awesome.. for that one weekend they were a band.

I remember thinking, "I can't wait until these guys make a third album." They had the kind of sound that made me think they'd be awesome once they got a couple of albums under their belt and started refining their style as Jars did. Ah well...
