SYFY's Day of the Dead | Trailer - Coming October

Day of the Dead premieres this October on SYFY. DAY OF THE DEAD follows a group of strangers trying to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion. This ode to George A. Romero’s famous flesh-eaters reminds us that sometimes all it takes to bring people together is a horde of hungry zombies trying to rip them apart.

Huh, so it's not another remake. And doesn't actually look too bad.
But it's Syfy so even if it's good and popular they're going to cancel it.

George Romero took his legacy and shat all over it with his latest movies which where so bad it put me off his classics, then Zack came along with a reimagining of Dawn of The Dead and fucking knocked it out of the park with quite simply the best Zombie flick ever (28 Days i consider a Virus flick and equally as brilliant) hell another Romero remake The Crazies was also fecking brilliant tbf

Diary and Survival of the Dead were just awful. Even Land of the Dead was only decent and imo it failed with the concept of more intelligent zombies. He probably didn't have any new ideas, but wanted to keep working.

i couldnt even finish Diary or Survival, i managed it through Land simply cause it was his first zombie flick since day and jesus it was fucking awful, the "social commentary" was so ham fisted and laughable and the intelligent zombie concept just went too far, i get it he wanted to keep working and earning a few bob but when i see praise heaped upon him i tend to get riled up, he literally made 2 decent flicks and Day whilst i enjoyed back in the 80's is terrible to rewatch
