I had a bad feeling that something bad happened to him in that match tonight; Michaels couldn't even stand up after the match was over and looked to be in pain when the show was fading out. Reminded me of when Triple H got injured a few years ago and was out for a year or so.
Wonder what they're going to do about the team team championship match, since the two guys that didn't get picked to face Triple H were supposed to take on La Resistance.
And in other news, it's already been found that by deleting a certain cookie from your browser, you can vote over and over again.

You know what I would pay to see?
If HBK won, and they replicated the match he had with HHH back in the early DX days... HBK lays down, HHH runs back and forth for a few minutes, then fins HBK. HBK heel turn, DX is back so people can stfu about seeing the reunion, and then Edge can be like "I TOLD YOU TO PICK ME HOMOS"

This is awesome. HBK, for some inexplicable reason, was going to win the voting. I think I've seen about enough HBK vs. HHH to last me a lifetime.
Actually, I hope he retires for good now. From his shoddy mic-work to his outright burying of people like Christian, this run has been a disaster. Plus, I really don't think we need anymore wrestling/religious t-shirt tie-ins.

Maybe "bury" was too strong of a word. He scored a clean pinfall over Christian like two weeks ago when he had nothing to gain by such a victory. Seriously, he's at a point in his career where he should really be putting over young talent and I'd be hard-pressed to come up with one feud he's had where he hasn't had the momentum coming out of it.
Shawn really should be dialing it back at this stage - and definitely not working a full schedule. I'm surprised another injury like this didn't occur much sooner during his latest run.

Why not sling a little back when someone starts talking shit like Flair did. I'm not even the biggest Foley fan but everything he said about Flair was true. The guy should have given it up atleast 5 years ago. He's about as entertaining as Kevin Nash in the ring these days.
Hell even Steamboat who retired 11 years ago looks better than flair in the ring.
Well I'm sure that I'm more than a little biased cuz I saw this one live but I thought it was better than their first meeting. Pretty much everyone knew going in Joe would retain but they had us going crazy the last 15 minutes of the match thinking Punk might actually have a chance.
And for anyone that cares it seems Steamboat is playing Flair in their fued. He called Foley's stlye garbage wrestling saying his pure wrestlers could beat Foley's chosen hardcore wrestlers anydays(which they did in their first meeting).

So the voting was for who will face HHH for the title? Who else was an option besides Benoit and HBK?
- WWE would prefer for Michaels to face Triple H in tonights main event for the World Title, but if Benoit wins the voting, then the voting will not be fixed and they will allow for Benoit to get the shot. But do expect a title change tonight. The idea will be sold that the fans caused a title change and at least one of the other two wrestlers, most likely Edge, would be made because it felt that he deserved to get the title shot and fans didnt pick him. Whoever wins the title tonight will have a short reign as the champion as Triple H will have to have the title by the time Royal Rumble approaches.
- During Sunday Night Heats taping, La Resistance was not announced as the champions. WWEs original plan was for there to be a tag title switch at Taboo Tuesday. With the recent injury to Shawn Michaels this plan could have change.

Hopefully that's true and Benoit gets the shot and then they suddenly reailize that Benoit = best wrestler on Raw and make him hold the belt until WMXVI where he beats Eddie Gurerro in an Iron Man Ladder match and retires with the belt...

if shawn could wrestle the match at wm15 with a broken lower back I think he can get through the torn knee altho I dont see him having the title long (maybe forfeit due to injury and have a wrestling tourney for it? havent seen that since wm4).

it was a ok PPV. Great first match....Then seeing Kane get what he's done to to others....then the entire title match with HBK and the cage match. The rest was kinda lame. Especially the Eugene/Eric match. Ended so quick, Vince was in the ring talking for a good 10 minutes.
