SNES theme aside - its amazing what a glossy look does for the original DS design. I think the lid not being so plain helps too... the switch to white buttons is hot as well.

Nice! It should come with an extra-short thumbstrap to mirror the not-long-enough controller cables that came with the SFC back in the day.
