Can we compile these reveals into one cohesive Tekken 8 thread? Makes no sense to create an entirely new one for every single character reveal.

I'd like to see that as well actually. But yeah, seems this isn't the only game that members make several threads when it comes to reveals.
So maybe it should be a future rule to make a megathread for individual reveals?

The sound designers of these latest Tekkens deserve to be fired.
I want to strangle the announcer in Tekken 8 already.
And the soundtracks of Tekken 7 and now this have been absolute clubland techno dogshit. Tekken 7 was only just about saved on PS4 thanks to the jukebox, which let you change the BGM in any stage.
Just compare:
Different era sadly, the mid to late 90's was great for Drum & Bass, Post-Grunge, Industrial, etc, which came together perfectly for the look and feel of Tekken 3. Tekken Tag 2 had an amazing soundtrack that mixed a lot of styles, had a great Deep House influence, etc, but sadly they had to abandon pretty much everything about Tekken Tag 2 when it sold like utter shit. Generic rave dance music seems to appeal to the masses so that's the direction Tekken has been in since 7.
God I hate how Namco lights there characters with alot of invisible white stadium lights and a bunch cheap ass rim lighting all over the place.
There is zero directionality to the lighting and it makes it look a generation or more behind in lighting. Its just plain awefull looking. What happened to all the talent? Why havent we matched the Tekken 6 Jin E3 trailer yet?

It's not just the graphics, it's the archaic and fixed way characters have to move and react for the sake of the legacy gameplay (fighting game are more like chess than a movie fight scene). You can't have dynamic, unpredictable stumbling or physics based reactions, terrain that's too uneven, limb based damage etc because that break the entire way these games are played. Which I resent btw. This is fine for the immovable "FCG" but I'd love to see something more realistic, like a blend of the UFC games and Sifu, instead of this healthbar thing and causing your opponent to bounce vertically into the air for juggles after a straight punch.

SF6 has the same problem. Thus far, the OSTs for both games suck. The reason I think it sucks for SF6 is that they probably didn't want the music to overshadow the dumb e-sports announcers they have in there. Tekken 8 has no excuse.

SF6 have a terrible sound design as well. Can't understand this trend. Fighting used to have amazing OST, Tekken 3, SF: Alpha 2, SF4, Guilty Gear Rev.

You have to listen to her doing her thing during Pride heyday it was so original compared to the Buffer brothers.
