Tekken 8 was last reported in February 2024 to have sold two million units. According to Bandai Namco, the three million sales milestone was achieved at a faster pace than predecessor Tekken 7, which has sold over 12 million copies to date.

Not a fan of the less-grounded direction the series has taken, but still glad to see it do well.

I think with lagless online and rollback we're seeing a new golden age for fighters.

For me there was more than enough quality content on disc.

If Namco want to make some extra money selling costumes then so be it (as long as it funds Ace Combat 8 and Armored Core 8).
Costumes, stages, Battle pass, characters

Fuck off Bamco you greedy counts

Not to mention the fact Tekken isnt Tekken anymore with all the retarded ultra's and supers

I do wish we'd get a mode akin to something like "Classic" or whatever which disables the rage arts and supers just so we'd have a mode focused on just the normal move set. I still want Team Battle to return too.

Team battle has been ignored for a long time, its retarded

I abhor that piece of shit. Tekken 8 and the future of the franchise looked so beautiful before the FF shitbird showed up at the TGAs.

Clive pretty much ruined my enjoyment of T8 online, constant teleportation and flame effects all over the place.

We could've had slut-dropping Tifa instead.

Too bad. Game is dlc.trash now
The bulk of the DLC is costumes that aren't needed. I don't know why people buy clothes for video game characters and avatars. I did think the first season pass was kinda weak. I'm glad they got blasted for charging season pass owners for that extra stage.
