Seems like the news on the radio has information daily on different suicide bombers blowing themselves up along with innocent victims in the middle east... and it made me wonder:

has there ever been a suicide bomber like that in the US? I don't recall hearing about any, but you'd think if there was one, they'd bust ass to cover it up to quell public panic, etc.

I don't really like the notion of any random person possibly exploding and taking me with them, but is there something stopping them from doing that here? They can get into the country and I would imagine explosives are easy enough to get ahold of if you're in that circle.

Just curious.

Suicidal people with a lot of anger and shitty lives end up blowing themselves up. In the US you got a lot of people going postal too. Killing a bunch of people and then killing themselves. A suicide bomber though? No not so far thank God.

People get things in their head from others. One school shooting happens, several others will occur within the next few months of varying degree. If we do get a suicide bomber like they see over there, it won't be just one.

Here bombs can get far more sophisticated with remote detonators.

In the case of suicide bombers, they activate the detonators themselves.

Another reason is that it's almost like a guided missile, because the person just walks up to the target.

if that happens it will be like opening pandoras box... it would happen weekly... especially if it gets alot of press and starts to scare everyone.. people will be scared to walk close to anyone at all, I promise you whenever that starts big cities or public places will never EVER be the same...

I'm honestly surprised this hasn't started happening already in the states.

That's because statistically there aren't many people who'd do this, in the US.

Now if the US was invaded by another country and there were foriegn tanks and such in the streets, you'd see a lot more violence in general, and perhaps these ghetto tactics used.
