Testing out my new capture card, weeee (T5)

Isn't the ATI HDTV support only for the tuner part though ?

The Rage Theatre 200 chip supports analog HD input (max 4:2:2, though), that's why it is one of my video decoder candidates for my company's developing set top box during that period. May be they think the thing is too niche to be supported in consumer 3D cards and they dropped it. Their set top box support might have continued but I wouldn't know.

Deinterlacing with Virtualdub is a bad idea. The plugin API was not designed for stuff like that so it makes complex deinterlacing with motion compensation totally impossible to do. I've tested many ways to deinterlace videos, and nothing ever beat tomsmocomp or sangnom with avisynth.
I know, but Smart Deinterlacer is doing a pretty good job and its pretty quick and painless. Avisynth is a bit too much hassle for some people ...

Ho really ? Now this is interesting, I'll have to take a look at their product line then.

Been messing with some of the options, think i got it looking better... but I've never had a very good eye for graphics... but it's definatly better than my old card.
