ok, given that I'm in NZ, and we're always a good month or more behind releases, I would've thought it would've been atleast mentioned here - anyway, I saw the box on a 'coming soon' shelf at the store.

Is it out in the States? This is the one made by THQ. Is it any good? I love tetris - my fave version would be Tetris DX. I didn't get teh THQ one for GBA (Tetris Worlds) for one reason mostly: No save - what's the point in playing a high score based game that doesn't save your high scores? Does anyone know what the scoring system for Tetris Worlds was? (Tetris = 12,00 points x your current level, level being determined by every 10 lines completed)..Does anyone know the DS version scoring, and whether it has save?

Anyway, from what I gather from the screenshots on the back of the box, the game is essentially Tetris (and I'm sure it will ahve standard modes, plus some wacky, good-for-a-laugh-once-off-but-not-as-good-as-original modes), but the way the dual screen and touch screen implemented was intriguing.

The first had your standard Tetris screen on the top screen, and the bottom a zoomed in view of the current falling piece, I assume controlled by touch, and would scroll with the piece. Ho hum, thanks.

But the second was really interesting - it looked like the play area was extended up both screens and there were atleast four pieces falling at once (not at the same level, but spaced maybe 3-4 lines away from each other). Now, I assume the continuously fall, but when they reach the touch screen, you can take over withthe stylus and click and drag your piece to where you want it. This would probably mean you can rotate the piece using the D-pad or something. Can anyone confirm how this is played, or if it works well? To me that sounds really cool...a way to really up your tetris game -having multiple pieces falling and using fast manouevres with the stylus... it's actually an addition to tetris I think I'd actually like! (most are usually very gimmicky, bombs, wider well, nbarrower well, poerups - all normally dilute the brilliance that is tetris).

I'm hoping that it's as good as it sounds, so that Tetris will be the new Tetris! (Screw you polarium)

I'll buy it only if it has a score. Damn Tetris Worlds. What a POS. Great game modes. No score! What's the freaking point of a puzzle game if there's no score?

That said, give me a score. I will be happy.
