i loved this adaptation as a child. i used to have a book, and there was this image of the Nazgul that freaked me out so much. this film was (along with the book inherited from my parents) my early initiation into fantasy culture.

look at these colors. dat rotoscoping. so cool.

Yeah I remember seeing this on TV. I thought was pretty cool. I always thought they never carried it on because it flopped but I guess not.
