I absolutely loved *almost* everything about this game but quit because of the nav system / map. Have they fixed that, should I give it another go?

Been wondering when we would see DLC, unfortunately not until patch 6 for actual missions? Why would i boot the game up just for shirts? The skins in this game were useless

Most fun I have in years. Played in co-op and it was really great (aside few bugs I've encountered)

No, still shite.

A major issue because of the amount running to the objective markers in the game. However the game was still fun and I played solo. In co-op it must be better still.

I see this brought up quite a lot. I think what gets people most confused is the "green arrow" on the map does not show you the exact direction of your objective but the nearest offscreen path of the objective path tool (d-pad up)

The map works fine really. The way to think of it is that it tells you roughly where to go horizontally. But then figuring out how to get their vertically is the puzzle part for you to figure out. Lots of areas have 2-3 different layers of overlapping height. So you follow the map to where its marked, and then look for nearby elevators or secret stairs. That's really all there is to it. Everything is marked. You can hit the dpad to send out the light beam in front of you to tell you where to go also.

I think you just need to give it a little more time to get familiar with it, because I had no real issues with it. The game is worth the effort to learn it.

My favorite game of the year so far. Still getting through GoTG and FH5 is on it's way. Great game considering it came from such a small dev.
Only dethroned by Metroid for me. One of the best games I've played in years. Not just the graphics, but the fun gameplay and tons of neat lore and world-building.

This was the game that interested me most when they did the Series X debut and I played it day one, love the look but some of the gameplay feels broken and the difficulty in some spots is just ridiculous, it's not bad but I think the game misses the mark and could have been so much better. It's a great looking game though, love the lighting etc.

yeah, IMO it's totally fine and I have no clue what is there to figure out. You tap up on d-pad and follow the ping. That's it.
It shows you the shortest path to your marked goal.

The minimap view in the top corner can be confusing but it's secondary and not really that important, aside from when in towns looking for vendors.

One of my fav games of the year for me, Metroid Dread and Ratchet was ahead but not by much, New Game+ is needed though, I dropped it when I had done all side missions.

new game + and photo mode? Should be day one, no excuse.

These are free. And take development time to put in. Why should they have been The? Not every game needs these, and the game was launched feature complete without them.

Even massive AAA games like God of War patched in New game plus and photo mode as a post launch update.

Lol @ 'no excuse'.

So i would call these basic features, and these are basic, are held out to make "announcements". And for those features are simple to implement, why there is usually cheat codes day one for things like photo mode.
