Warner Bros. has shifted several of their upcoming release dates due to delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The Batman, which is on a production hiatus until further notice, has a new release date of October 1, 2021. It was originally to have opened June 25, 2021.
In addition, Warners has set new 2022 release dates for two other DC movies. The Flash has shifted from an August 1, 2022 release to June 2, 2022, while Shazam 2 was postponed from April 1, 2022 to November 4, 2022.
Notably, Warner Bros. hasn't changed the December 22, 2021 release date for Black Adam, their DC film starring Dwayne Johnson. Johnson recently took to social media to reveal that production had been delayed until August or September.
Finally, Warner Bros. has pushed David Chase's The Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark from September 25, 2020 to March 12, 2021.
