Grrr I call because the email I just got tells me to call.. they don't have pricing information yet for existing customers... call back tomorrow or monday... well dammit I'm calling back tonight and then tomorrow and then sat... etc.

do most carriers give any kind of discount for existing customers? i want to upgrade from the p.o.s. i have now, but not if i have to pay full MSRP for a phone.

is this exclusive to T-Mobile? I have Verizon (my company's choice) and I would really like a Blackberry, but they're all way too expensive.

Depending on the amount of time you've had the service you might quality for a discount upgrade, but I believe it's based on time in service.
