The Car Thread

It's the season finale.

Hunting for points and trophies in the Green Hell. The principles apply: always on around 24 kilometers of track and always particularly close to the public.
Race action with an almost gigantic field of drivers: this is what you can look forward to at the races of the ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. Super sports cars from professional teams compete together with touring cars that are close to series production. Divided into about two dozen different classes, all 165 race cars will be competing for victory in their respective class. The ticket gives spectators access to all open grandstands, the paddock and the starting grid. Children up to and including 14 years of age will even be admitted free of charge.

This guy is restoring a Datsun 240z with insane detail down to smoothing sharp edges that will never see the light of day by another person. Talk about a passion project.

I underestimated how much people adore them up to the point where they will start from scratch to rebuild them.

I remember Sung Kang bringing the Z into the spotlight one day. It's not for me but it's cool that the badge lives on.

A withered black Porsche Macan parked next to my brilliant, Italian Stallion, designed by Giugiaro-Italdesign, Alfa Romeo.

The Macan belonged to a construction site worker person (an arsehole then). You just know these people use their cars like Hassan Piker's dog.

I was tempted to breakout my Jake Humphrey's mic and ask passersby which car they would prefer and jumpstart my own FaceTube career.
