A Gamer Has Finally Grabbed the ‘Impossible 1-Up’ in Super Mario 64 Without Dying

A speedrunner figures out a way to grab a seemingly impossible-to-obtain 1-Up Mushroom in Super Mario 64 during a playthrough.

In a recent YouTube video, a speedrunner called PaLiX shared that they had discovered a way to grab the "Impossible 1-Up" on Cool, Cool Mountain in Super Mario 64. Fortunately, the YouTube video revealed the process PaLiX undertook to nab the troublesome item. It's worth noting that the speedrunner said the method used to acquire the green mushroom took several hours. With this in mind, other gamers wanting to try and grab the "Impossible 1-Up" will need to be prepared to work at it for a long time.
