Oh snap at those vids
A legitimate, full on police chase of the Batman!

Haven't seen that many cop cars since The Blue Brothers movie

So i decide to leave my apartment and go for a late night walk through downtown la and what do i find? The goddamn batman! He was on the batpod speeding down the street. If 5 year old me knew that 20 year old me would see the real-life batman he would think i was the coolest person aside from batman himself. Sorry, but seeing that made me pretty ecstatic, gaf.

What street?

Oldman in the picture is gonna be Nolan's expression when this movie turns out terrible because of the groundbreakingly awful casting of Hathaway.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Terrible fucking decision ...... having Catwoman in the movie full stop.

How can Batman be black?

Bruce Wayne is white.
Maybe they could have an alternate universe where Lucius Fox uses all his tech himself instead and Bruce just funds it all.

Nah. They should have cut her hair and give her a costume more along the lines of the one in the comics.

Nope, a stupid and extremely weak character totally.

Surprised he didn't go the whole hog and throw in Robin for fuck sake!

What a stupid way to completely ruin the last of his trilogy ...... funnily he said he would never have stupid characters like catwoman, robin etc in any of his movies.

Dude, I've seen the movie. Her character is weak and unnecessary. You literally could have removed her from the movie and the plot would not have changed.

I'll PM you the details.

Catwoman does not make Batman, Batman!!

She is a rather weak character and when broken down is nothing but tits and ass for the comics.

I think Hathaway is going to be good. If Nolan could make the annoying Ellen Page both attractive and watchable. He will have no problem with a actress as good as Anne.

She was made neither attractive or watchable.

She amounted to nothing more than a nag in that movie and she still looks like a boy .... zero figure.

Occupy Gotham....lol get it?

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/mov...-rises-occupy-wall-street-christian-bale.html

"The Dark Knight Rises," Christopher Nolan's third film in the Batman trilogy, has been shooting in Los Angeles in recent weeks. But the Christian Bale-led production is now set to make a trip to New York and could be heading to a fraught locale: the Occupy Wall Street protests.

Under its code name "Magnus Rex," the Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures production will arrive in the nation's biggest city for 14 days starting Oct. 29, according to a casting notice recently issued by producers. And, according to a person briefed on actors’ schedules who requested anonymity because production details were being kept confidential, cast members have been told the shoot could include scenes shot at the Occupy Wall Street protests.

While it's unclear what shape the protean movement will take in the coming weeks, the demonstrations will almost certainly be continuing during the period that "The Dark Knight Rises" shoots in New York. While the person who’d been told of the plans said the protests could figure into the production, they said that doesn't mean they will be included in the storyline.

In other words, Nolan, who's known for carefully planning out scenes months in advance, wouldn’t necessarily be tweaking the script; he’d simply be using the protests as a backdrop or a stand-in for something that already exists in the film.

I'm with ya. Nolan is cursed with shitty female roles. Marion Cotillard was annoying as fuck in inception.

I agree with him. Also any news on a trailer? I've stayed out of this thread to avoid spoilers but figured people here would know an estimated date for the first trailer.

I'd guess December attached to something like Sherlock Holmes 2. Perfect time to inject some excitement back in. Will probably see catwoman and Bane in action as well.

Rumor: 8 Minute ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Prologue Attached to ‘Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol’ in IMAX?

A trusted theater (read: exhibitor) source has just exclusively alerted /Film that Warner Bros. plans to attach an eight minute prologue to The Dark Knight Rises to all IMAX prints of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Christopher Nolan‘s third film in his Batman trilogy is being released by Warner Bros. and Brad Bird‘s first live action film is Paramount, but the arrangement would certainly be mutually beneficial as Mission: Impossible is the biggest IMAX release of the holiday season. Putting a teaser for The Dark Knight Rises in front of it would certainly drive audiences to that format as opposed to regular theaters. There’s more after the break.

Dude. Brad Bird did The Incredibles. He's awesome and his first live-action movie will also be awesome. See it in theatres!

Dude, no IMAX where I live.

Dude, I like Brad Bird.

Dude, the trailer was garbage.

Dude, I'll watch if it gets good reviews.

YES! That would be glorious. And unlike last time I will not watch the crappy camera copy online.

Or should I avoid it completely just to avoid all spoilers? I tried last time but ended up going to see I Am Legend in IMAX (didn't pay for it though).
Shit is tradition yo.
Only hardcore Nolan gaf will be able to adhere to this.
