The Division 2: The Pact - Official Launch Trailer

The Division 2: Survivors and The Division Resurgence

Article:
The Division 2: Survivors

The Division 2: Survivors will bring an updated take on the survival extraction experience to The Division 2!

Development of The Division: Survivors is currently in the early stages, under the leadership of Magnus Jansén as Creative Director- a veteran of the Division from the early days of the original game.

"The Division 2: Survivors is as much your baby as it is ours, and we strive for transparency during its development. Clear communication and community involvement are a focus as we build the new experience, and we will be closely involving you as we move forward on the development journey," said Julian Gerighty, Executive Producer.

We will have more to share with you soon, but until then, here is a peek at the logo and a few new pieces of concept art.

The Division Resurgence

We also shared details on the upcoming the Division Resurgence: a free-to-play mobile RPG shooter MMO, offering the same gameplay experience as the Division games adapted to mobile gaming.

The Division Resurgence takes players back to the streets of Manhattan, set several months after the conclusion of the Division 1. With a familiar map updated to reflect the passage of time, the Division Resurgence will bridge the narrative gap between the Division 1 and 2, adding to the existing lore with additional story beats over time.

Community is key, and so we will be firing up our testing phases in September. A closed test on both iOS and Android will allow us to gather your feedback and insights, with further test sessions to follow. Head to the Division Resurgence webpage for more info on how to join in.

Played the Division 2 through to completion, plus the DLC.

In no way was it ever a patch on the 1st and that setting.

And sadly, to me, no matter how much DLC they throw at it, it will never reach those snowy Christmas nights and atmosphere of NYC :messenger_crying:

Ubi finally waking up to this goldmine and dedicated players who have stuck by content drought because the core mechanics are just too much fun.
Two future seasons already announced tied with the story. New Mobile game and Division 3 in 5 years or so.

The fact that they funded Gayvatar and Sheboss Wars over a AAAA Division 3 may go down as some of the dumbest most braindead mismanagement in Videogame history.

Snowy New York in full Christmas decoration is unmatched as a setting. Played some Division a few weeks ago, game still looks quite incredible at times.

Division 2 never stood a chance.
Exactly! The quality of the first game is unmatched and it has only 9 years since release.

New Season launched today and added a new endgame open world activity, a new mode in years I think.

This season sets the stage for a new power struggle and three enemy factions have joined together to fight the Agents. Factions are no longer content to hold ground, they're pressing harder, forcing you to fight for every block and every zone. That tension fuels Retaliation, a new open world activity that expands Control Point mechanics and opens new ways to earn Exotic loot.

How it Works

Every faction has an Agitation Meter, visible from the new Retaliation tab on the Mega Map. Eliminating enemies, completing missions, and capturing Control Points all push that meter higher. Once the meter is full, the faction will launch a Retaliation, attempting to take over a Named Zone and all of its Control Points.
Your objective is simple but demanding: retake the entire zone before the timer runs out. You and your team will deploy from the safe house, reclaiming Control Points one by one. Capturing a point extends the timer, but every second counts, and the clock is always against you.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 new season, "The Pact", is coming on September 9, Agents!

The Hyenas, Outcast and True Sons seem to be forging a Pact against The Division. One powerful enough to shift the balance of power in DC.

"The Pact" introduces a new set of Modifiers, seasonal events including Halloween and special collaborations, Veteran rewards, and the arrival of a brand-new open-world activity: Retaliation.

About The Division 2:
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is a shooter RPG with a thrilling campaign fully playable in co-op and multiple PVP modes.

In The Division 2, save your country in Washington, DC, and in the Warlords of New York expansion, hunt down Aaron Keener, a former Agent who has taken control of New York.

Still represents the best cost per $ vs hours of play i got from a game.

I Paid just $6 for the game on the Epic gamestore with a voucher including the New York DLC and put over 250hrs into it.

To my surprise it runs pretty well on Steam Deck as well but the small screen makes the long range combat much harder for my tired old eyes...

Division 1 has the best atmosphere, best NYC in any game. The gunplay is also pretty nice. Division 2 + NYC DLC has great atmosphere, a nice DC setting but the gameplay is smooth and superior to 1. Minute changes compound to make this game a joy to play, so fun and so much thrill. Leveling up, the dopamine. Solo works but co-op shines in these games.

Thanks UbisoftGPT.

Some great locations to visit on both of the division games.

I went to the museum!😊
I wouldn't recommend the zoo's, they didn't fair so well

Ii remember watching a vid about the sewers and the graffiti the devs recreated and put in the game.

You wouldn't expect these to be 'stop and smell the roses' type games but they can be

Running round shooting guys is fun too.
Good game.

I played the first one many hours when it came out and loved it.

The second one was good but it never reached that level of greatness the first had for me

I hope they are working on The Division 3. I am more interested in that tbh
