...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
I hate to see him being such a pussy. Back in his SNL days, he was about as raw as you can get. Delirious was gold. Raw was gold. His SNL sketches were gold. His movies were gold. Everything he did was incredible.

Then he got married and had kids. Argh. Oh well, let's appreciate this man's career past.

P.S. Kill de white people!

I think it was more that he turned into a JW - but I guess its not a sin to make crappy movies (I Spy was ok I guess). Maybe he should read the bible one day - Raw and Delirious have nothing on the OT in crudness and edginess.

I just watched Daddy Day Care last night with my 2 kid sisters. I usually can't stand him (his recent stuff anyways), but it wasn't even as close to as bad as I was expecting.

My manager told me that Michael Jackson was after me for telling jokes about him and I was like "SO??"
I'd F^%$ Mike up!!

PURE RAW GOLD!!! :lol

Hey...uhh...WHAT'CHO MOTHAFUCKIN PROBLEM MAN!? HUH!?

I especially loved it when he cracked on Stevie Wonder.

"That singing and piano shit don't impress me, Stevie. You wanna' impress me, here take the wheel."

:lol

They've got 24 hour homo watch over there!!!! :lol

My fave skit would have to be the Rocky and Italians one.. funniest shit ever.. "AIGHT ROCKY!!!! AIGHT SLY!!!"

It's the revenge of Bill Cosby.

The Cos whipped up some mojo with his Jello Pudding Pops and cursed Eddie Murphy so that he can only make kiddie movies from now on. :D

Otherwise, Eddie just got old. Rude comedians either die or get old and mellow out.

It wasn't that he got old or had kids, he was freaking caught trying to get a prostitute that was an undercover cop that just so happened to be a guy. Why does everyone forget that? I still don't think that should've made his career bomb, but man, if he came back... he's got to have been working on something for all these years.

Hahah, that was gold. "Hey paizon...you see dat new Rocky movie yet? Ish' a great fockin' movie. Let me tell you, you know what I love about these movies? It's the realism. You got this moolie and Rocky just fucks him up, ya know? Hey-yo I tell that's how you gotta treat these fockin' moolies. You see that big black guy right? Now he's about 6 foot 4, and I'm 5 foot 3...watch this...."

:P

What cracked me up was when he was talking about all these tourists and forigners that he would see on the streets and some of the guys would go

"HEY YOU!! EDDIE MURPHYYY... FUCK YOU MAN! FUCK YOU AND YOUR MOTHER YOU MOTher FUCKER!!!... SUCK My DICK MAN!!! *then the tourist would wave*" lol I laughed my ass off.

"I know you Eddie Murphyyyyyy...you the fuck you man right!!! ":D :D :D

And everyone's favourite, the gay honeymooners bit

"Norton, how would you like to fuck me up the ass? Now I'ma count to three, and when I hit three...start fucking. Wooooooaaaaaahhhh...hummina, hummina, hummina, hummina"

:lol :lol :lol The man is a comic genius.

Eddie's made the best comedies ever...

Trading Places
Coming to America
Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2
48 Hours & Another 48 Hours

He could make nothing but Pluto Nash-level bombs for the rest of his life and I wouldn't care...his place in comedic history is already secure.

Eddie Murphy is an underrated impressionist, I'd love to see him do another standup.

To whomever said he wasn't as edgy as the OT, in case you were being serious, people have to remember that his standup movies came out almost 20 years ago. A lot has changed, but he was certainly groundbreaking in his day.

Ey, you the mothafucka that been doin' Stevie Wondah?
That shit ain't funny motherfucka...don't you never let me see you do that shit again, I'll fuck you up! Stevie Wonder is a musical genius *whipes his nose like a 5 year old*
That's terrible, that's terrible man! Your mother brought you up wrong motherFUCKA!

:lol

Delirious > Raw

'Yes I Fucked her, but I make love to you' :lol

Also, the whole GI JOE part :lol

And the skit about those italians going to watch rocky :lol

Damn I gotta watch delirious and raw again.

Delirious > Raw

I loved how he said "terrible" it was more of a "teh'ible".

"Yo' mother brought you up wrong, dat's what it is. Motherfucka!"

His James Brown impersonations fuck me up. The whole Mr. T thing too. "Hey boi...keep fuckin' around and cum too fast, make me clench my buttcheeks n' rip yo dick off."

:lol :lol :lol

1) 18 year old getting laid.
2) ICE CREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!

LOL Amen.. Iwas watching it last night.. Delirous just makes me laugh all the way threw, I felt that Raw fell flat toward the end. But the whole bit on divorce was fucking awesome.

Add me to the Eddie fanboy list.

Two questions:

1)How old is Eddie right now? Isn't Charlie older?

2)Are Raw and Delirious out on dvd yet? If so, any extras?

Raw is on DVD and is avalible at Target for 9.99, however Delirous I havnt been able to find... I found it on Ebay as a package deal with Raw but it was going for 40+ bucks.

Want the hot chic

She ended up doing some softcore B-movies in the early 90s. She was only 19 years old when she was in the Golden Child.

Anyway, I just finished my Eddie Murphy marathon just a few days ago. Basically I watched all his movies up until after Boomerang. He definitely had some stinkers in the mid 90s. Then he went all Disney in the late 90s.

With that said, I actually liked Metro. It was an above average action flick. Much better than Beverly Hills Cop 3.

I also liked Bowfinger and Daddy Daycare actually was a decent movie, which I'll probably end up buying.

I like when Eddie plays himself and not constantly doing a caricature. I-Spy was okay, but he was an exaggerated character the whole movie. It was like seeing a live-action Donkey.

I can't the lack of appreciation for Harlem Nights

I heard Quentin Tarentino wants to make another beverly hills cop movie with eddie. Any truth to that?

Also I am going to see Charlie Murphy and friends at a show in Seattle. Anyone know who his friends are? I hope he isn't just an MC.

Coming to America is one of the funniest things he's ever done.

And Charlie is his older brother. Eddie is in his mid-40s. 44, iirc. Charlie is 46. He mentioned his brother numerous times in his stand up acts:

"You wanna start a fire? You wanna eat? You wanna eat? Huh huh huh? Well if you wanna' eat we gotta start a fire. Start a big motherfuckin fire. Charlie go chop down a couple of trees. Eddie, go get the gas...ok ok, stand back now." *WOOOOOOOOOOSH* "Uhhh, just roll around in the grass Charlie."

I forgot what he told Eddie to go get, but it's the stuff you spray onto a grill to ignite it. The word totally slipped my mind.

Yeah, his Richard Pryor impersonation in RAW is great. :lol the best two stand up comics in the same show. :D

I think he's such a good impersonator, that I'd rather listen to him than watch his DVDs. His Honeymooners impression is unreal, and he can do so many voices that watching them all come out of the same man kind of takes away from how accurate they actually are.

Haha yeah. His impersonations are indeed awesome. When he started doing Mr. T in Delirious, I lost my shit. And then Ralph Cramden and Ed Norton...and then Michael Jackson. Bahaha. I'm so watching this later when I get back home.
