Ico - Probably the most memorable game for me this gen.
Shadow of the Colossus - 2nd most memorable.
Xenosaga Episode 1 - I'm sure that i'm the first and only one to put it on their top 5. :lol
Resident Evil 4 - Awesome on the Cube, and i'm enjoying the 2nd time around with the PS2 version.
Metal Gear Solid 3 - Replace this with Subsistence in a month.

Honorable mentions: The SSX Series (Lost some of it's magic after Tricky) and SMT: Nocturne

This is just impossible to do.
We would need to first break down all the video game genre's into just 5 categories and that just would not be proper.

How to do that?
1. Racing
2. RPG
3. Fighting
4. Action
5. Adventure

Racing = NFS: HS2
RPG = FFX/X-2 Compilation
Fighting = VF4 Evo
Action = God of War
Adventure = Ico

Then we would leave out so many things like Survival Horror (RE4), or SH3 if we are talking exclusives. What about platformers, and sports games, and all the other genre's out there? I picked NFSHS2 for best racing game, but it's only the best arcade style racing game IMO. Next we have Sim racing (GT4), or ATV racing, or motorcycle racing, etc, etc.

On the other hand, listing the top 5 worst games might be pretty easy, so maybe listing the top 5 best games is possible.

Meh, it would just turn into a haterade thread listing legimately good games being labeled as the worst games instead of actually out and out games with no redeeming qualities because of narrowmindness of"I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE LIKE IT !!! SO IT'S THE WORST EVER!!!!" Why of course, because you won't let yourself see it!!!
