Grandma's Chippy
Simple review...

- Corny story that has a few good moments plot wise
- Some "neat" effects that I was pleased with
- A number of great "shock" moments that had the theater where I saw it buzzing

Overall : 7/10

EDIT : If you have a date that is a "jumper" at shock parts, it's a good flick for that :D

Care to elaborate? I don't want to waste the $$$ seeing why it's the
aliens
.
the aliens took her son in an attempt to study how the memory of a parent can be erased
some shit like that

so yeah they basically ripped off the x files 100%

Putting an Xfiles comment under your spoilers kinda defeats the purpose since Xfiles was all about aliens anyway ;P

In the end, I liked the movie for what it was...especially for those scenes I mentioned.

- The Car crash scene made everyone chatter for like 30 seconds afterwards
- The cop scene made everyone jump about 2ft out of their seats
- A couple of other jump scenes made it worth the $6.50 I paid to see it :)

I can't believe the NSA had so much trouble catching them though. And was that main alien guy creepy or what? What other movies has he been in cuz he looks familiar.

I thought the movie was pretty good. Had a couple of shock moments, and Julianne Moore's performance was well acted.

No, it was about:

Higher order beings conducted this experiment in order to understand the strong bond/attachment a mother can have with her son.
