so no more RBR-Duct speculation?
my guess would be it's a sort of passive F-Duct that blows at low speeds on (maybe) the huge underflow thingie they have going, to increase downforce, and "closes" on high speed to reduce drag
some evolutionary pics
If those top-down Ferrari shots are to scale.... dat wheelbase. Nice bus they've made there...some evolutionary pics

Bah, iam going to miss it all due to work anyway. :-(
I like the livery.
Is there any tv coverage of the testing sessions?
Raikkonen will start working together with his engineer at Barcelona at the last test before Melbourne. “I wanted him and I am pleased that it worked out,” Raikkonen confirmed.
In other news, Eric Boullier has denied rumours Raikkonen is a shareholder in the Lotus team. It was reported that the 2007 world champion’s retainer this year was subsidised by owner Genii granting the returning F1 driver a small slice of the Enstone based team.
“He has no shareholding. It is complete nonsense,” Boullier is quoted by MTV3.
“Raikkonen has a two-year contract as driver,” he added. “Genii Capital holds 100 per cent of the team.”
Williams doesnt look too bad with the stepped nose. The livery works well with it compared to other cars.
What sites are people using the follow testing?
Currently reading along on Autosport; haven't fished around for anything else as yet.
08:01 Next out are Kimi Raikkonen's Lotus and Daniel Ricciardo's Toro Rosso.
08:20 Raikkonen's Lotus fires up and he sets off for his second run of the morning.

Woo, thanks for the link.
Theres also a nice testing gallery there also

08:23 Raikkonen heads onto what could be our first flying lap of the day.
08:24 Raikkonen sets a 1m20.992s, our first flying lap of the year.
08:25 Raikkonen improves to 1m20.802s.
08:25 The ICEMAN is the only man to set a time so far, and continues onto a third flying lap.
08:26 Raikkonen's third lap is slightly slower than the second, a 1m20.839s.
08:29 Rosberg is also on the circuit, but is coming through the pits at the end of every lap.
08:30 Raikkonen improves to 1m20.514s, a new best of the morning.
Myoclonic Jerk said:Nice.. any timings from last year to compare?
Fastest time for Day 1 of testing last year was 1:20.709 by Massa!
EDIT: fastest overall for the first 4 days in jerez was Barrichello - Williams - 1:19.832
FOM are so completely useless. Any other management group on the planet would have an official live timing feed for testing. They can't possibly not realise how much interest there is in testing?
Ferrari are straight in with thier Flow viz paint apparently. Are they worried already?
Normally they do a few runs first![]()
08:44 Massa's first flying lap is a 1m24.423s and he stays out and keeps pushing on.
That won't stop me from getting excited
I don't think teams will do so much sandbagging as they need to test their new cars properly. So many changes since last year
Lap times still not comparable, as the tires will greatly differ from last years, I expect.
1 Raikkonen Lotus 1m20.514s
2 Kobayashi Sauber 1m22.112s +1.598
3 Massa Ferrari 1m24.423s +3.909
4 Rosberg Mercedes 1m41.939s +21.425
All timing unofficial. Updated: 08:48 GMT
Only if it rains. What I was at is that Williams was on top, not the timings. But I agree on the timings, no blown diffuser, change of body work, tyres..etc
I'll enjoy this sheet while it lasts.. don't think we'll see anything close to that during the season![]()
