One of these things just doesn't belong here, one of these things just isn't the same...

wow that was an outburst and a half

I think if most of F1-GAF knew the various, disgusting, truths about him very few people would even want him posting in this thread.

I won't post about it again in this thread because I don't want to de-rail it, but I think a lot of people who don't read other threads will be interested to see this.

I stand by my original post, however - five posts in a row is excessive for any thread, especially in the span of ten minutes. The fact it was mclaren777 just fueled my tone.

I'd rather play the game "Where's the God in these pics?"

FOUND HIM.

Haha. Now THIS is a game I can get behind!

5 fucking posts in a row? Seriously?

Learn to edit for fucks sake.

Yea, be careful with that, mods are picky about double posting let alone quintuple. And it is obnoxious as it keeps getting bumped in the "updated" list, when in reality its the same poster over and over.

Gotta pad that post count.

I too, was once like you, Mclaren7777777777. Hated the Scuderia and everything that Schumi stood for. I supported Macca because of Kimi. When he joined Ferrari, I stopped caring about McLaren and their stupid unreliable cars (this goes back to the Kimi/DC days) and learned to love the way Ferrari did stuff. It feels so old school. Yeah I know they haven't had the best history (FIA politics, etc), but I love Domenicalli's demeanor and how he's basically the opposite of the old regime.

They got Kimi the title he long deserved that McLaren couldn't provide him and for that, I'm thankful to Ferrari. I'm still rooting for them, but definitely pulling for Kimi to have some surprise results this year as well. When on top of his game, he was the fastest out there.
Scintillating is/was the best way to describe Kimi back in the day. If he can recapture even some of that form, then the upper midfield battle may well be the most entertaining to watch this season. I know I'm ready for the Schumacher versus Raikkonen redux.

101 laps in the Force India - impressive work Di Resta. Now go get some sleep.

It was an honest "mistake". I'll do a better job of combining posts in the future.

I wasn't aware that GAF kept track of post count.

And for as much as I used to like Kimi, I don't think he deserved the 2007 title. It was rightfully Hamilton's and I blame Alonso for the way things turned out.

Agreed. Midfield battles are gonna be great. I think Grosjean is going to surprise some people this year as well. Renault always has a sneaky good car that grips like mad.

My lasting image of Kimi will always be Suzuka against Fisi. I think it was during the single tire for an entire race year and he started near the back of the grid and caught Fisi's Renault at the end of the race and made an amazing move on a paralyzed Fisi. He was so good.

We agree to disagree. He won 2 more races than Nando and Lewis. Regarding blaming Fernando, he used every trick Schumi did with Rubens, it just turned out that Dennis/Macca supported Lewis in that scenario where as Brawn/Todt always picked Michael.

So the new Williams had problems today. Driving only 25 laps is not the way you want to start your testing program...

Schumi happy ICEMAN is back

"I'm happy for him, very happy for him," said Schumacher at the end of the day at Jerez.

"It is the first day and let's see at the end of the three days (Sic) and then we can make a proper judgement of what those times were worth. But I am really happy for the team and for him."

He added: "It's great to have so many world champions on the grid. It is going to be a good show for all of us."

You needn't worry, he'll be testing soon enough.

Tuesday 7 February: Mark Webber
Wednesday 8 February: Mark Webber
Thursday 9 February: Sebastian Vettel
Friday 10 February: Sebastian Vettel

Just watched that report on sky sports news.
They seemed a bit too concerned about lap times, talking about cars being 'off the pace' they even asked horner a few times about it...

But at least its nice to see some testing coverage

Yeah, I was wondering why they kept asking him about lap times, and some weird questions "Where would you say you are compared to this time last year?", after 1 day of testing lol.

Errr, that's actually a good question (if indeed that was the correct phrasing). Although unlikely to produce a candid response.

What's the word on when Mercedes will launch their new car?

And I am the only one that thinks the new Ferrari looks pretty ghastly?
