A song from when I was young as hell popped into my head today. I searched for it but found nothing.

I thought it was Will Smith(or someone who sounds like him). It was from the early 90's. It had some type of flute-sounding instrument in the background. The only lyrics I remember are "It's the formula" which I think was the hook.

Yes, it was by 'The D.O.C', who would've been the sickest rapper on the west coast to this day if he hadn't fucked up his throat in a car accident....
