Whoa... what happened to this thread? I'm going to describe what's going on here as tragic. I still have disc 1 and 3 for Panzer Dragoon Saga for those that need replacement discs.I know somewhere out there, somebody is missing these disc from whatever set they came from.

Well if something was being offered up, Animal Crossing for example (from Willenium), and no one else wanted it, why should I not be allowed to have it? I offered it to anyone else who was interested in it first, but no one claimed it. I happily took it as it's something that my sister will really enjoy. I don't see what's so wrong with that.

As much as I'd like Canvas Curse, since people taking multiple items has become a hot-button issue lately, I'll step aside and let one of the posters with sparse DS collections have it.

In that case, it actually was irony. Still, this thread has a negative vibe now, which is why I was immediately on guard.

I'm still thinking of offering something when I get back in town, though.

All I've gotten so far is an original Tomb Raider guide, I've let some other stuff slip to other people. So, if you happen to know the answer of the scramble, feel free to let me know. :D
 
Oh sorry I should mention guys...I still do require shipping for the item though. I know Darunia is in Euroland so I don't know if that will pose a problem. It might be a tad expensive to ship there.

I don't know. I'll admit the thread got pretty 4chan yesterday, but I had a lot of fun. I also got to know a lot of the posters better. People will eventually stop camping the thread, as maybe only 1 or two items are given out daily (or less, who knows).

I think the key now is that there are few enough posts that we can rely on things other than "dibs" to reserve items. Hopefully we can give a fair chance to everyone.

Since, well, you're sending the items for cheap, you should be able to JUST send off the item as a Large Letter and not a Parcel. DS games are very light too. Even if it's just some Brown Paper wrapping around the case itself - they're sturdy enough :)

Slightly a novelty - but this is a small 'Zine written by one of my friends down here in Australia. If you're into any 'Zine or Indie scene, it'd be great to see this just get passed along around the world :)

Yeah I'm going to have to figure out my shipping solution. I was usually buying a bubble mailer and sending them through letter mail, but it still came up to like $3.50 for a game to send to someone in Canada. To the U.S., that probably climbs to $5 or so. Maybe if I save on the bubble mailer it'll help cut costs.

I'm not exactly sure when I'll get the games all sent out. I'm going to do it all at once. I'll figure out if there's anything else I want to send out before everything goes out. It'll go out early next week at the very latest.

Okay, here's my contribution to this thread.

I'm offering Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Genesis, cartridge only. It's definitely not in perfect condition, as the large sticker/logo thing is slightly ripped on the top, and it has a lot of ugly sticker residue.

Please don't bid on this if you aren't going to play and cherish it like I did. This is one of my favorite games of all time.

I suppose I'll do a three-person raffle, just to be a bit more fair.

I have owned a Genesis for a number of years but I do not own any games. Probably why I never play it.

By the way, here's how I'll run the raffle. I'll use that random sequence website, but I don't think a three number sequence is random enough. So to combat this, I'll run a 100 number sequence and whichever person/number is highest up will get Sonic 2.

Seriously. It's not THAT big a deal. People can tell who hasnt recieved anything by just doing a few searchs on their recents posts. Some of you guys who are blowing a head gasket need to calm down. There isnt any law saying you have to give it to the first person who said something, when you know they've recieved tons of stuff.

I haven't checked what all you're sending, but I know you can send games via media mail, which is pretty cheap. Not sure about carts, but I've sent PS2 games and DVDs that way before.

When selling on ebay, a lot of the time I just buy a few generic 8*11 brown envelopes and a newspaper, then pad everything with the newspaper and seal it all up something fierce with box tape.

Man, I can't believe we went so long doing the awful "dibs!" system (which of course leads to drama once it's been around long enough in a thread like this) before people started getting more creative with things. Anagrams, raffles... I think this thread would be totally different if we were smart enough to do this early on.
