It seems that the dead may be about to rise, however, as a rating for The House of the Dead 2: Remake for the Nintendo Switch has surfaced via the official PEGI (Pan European Game Information) website courtesy of Gematsu
I was excited until I saw Switch . . . I want it in VR.
Freshman year of college I was playing this game with the light guns with controller extensions on my DreamCast.
I miss them too, the old school light guns don't work with the modern TV's, although I recently got a Sinden lightgun for my PC and have been enjoying old arcade games like Time Crisis, House of the dead and Virtua Cop. It uses a camera at the front of the gun and a on screen border to work, and it works with any tv, it takes a little bit of setting up but works really well.
Apparently current tvs are pretty delayed wben playing those type of games and old cert tvs are the only way of playing them though i remember reading years ago someone was able to create something which allowed led tvs to play them without any lag input
They really should have released it as a VR game, or had a VR mode available. I adore the House of the Dead Games, but they could have done so much more with the first remake.
