THE Killer app for DS?

The DS lends itself VERY well to FPS... MS has recently praised Nintendo's handhelds and handheld strategy. That had not been done before... Could we see a Halo DS? What would that do to the PSP?

i got to play multiplayer metroid for the first time yesterday and it was cool. The graphics of the more open areas look so much better than the shitty place youre in during the single player demo. i was rather impressed. I still suck at fps games though.

i still hold to the belief that the killer apps for the DS will have wireless play and some sort of community aspect like Pokemon and Animal Crossing If Sega decides to released a multiplayer Phantasy Star, especially if it has online or at least some notable connection to the GC PSOs... MEGATON.

Has the (already really fucking annoying) “wouldn’t it be good if this game were made for DS” crap finally gotten to the stage where people are actually posting Halo as a contender?

Yeah. I guess I touched a raw nerve here. Is it always like this? I'm sorry if a Halo DS thread had been done before.

Yes it has. Why would anyone want to have such a graphically demanding game on DS? Not to mention no dual analog support. It would suck.

Metroid Prime isn't graphcially demanding? Hunters looks fine on the DS. So your point is what?

The stylus would be better than dual analog. Console controllers are piss poor for FPS. So your point is what?

I made my point in the post. Metroid Prime hunters control is not ideal for an FPS. You have to pick your thumb up multiple times just to turn around, while using the thumbstrap. Dual analog works well, and definatley better than the stylus control. Go play Halo 2 again and see why it wouldn't be done justice on the DS.
