Yes, and you'll be fine. Just set your PS4 as your US accounts 'home' console and you can play while signed in with your AUS account. For less money. With less censorship. Several days earlier :)

Amazon also has them for 69.99 and I think I am going to grab them there. I have a decent amount of credit, so I can get them for next to nothing.

How much will the US version be on the PlayStation Store? I figure that the conversion rate between $ and £ will make it worthwhile getting a digital copy instead of waiting for a physical copy to be shipped over the pond.

Yep...I'm getting this exact same feeling. I can feel the PS3 versions gaze burning into the back of my head. Less than a month now...

I'd prefer people with headsets (as its the best experience in MP) but id still play with people without them

Yes but it does not support preload, so you'll have to initiate the download directly on the PS4, using remote play or the ps store download queuing.

Cheers! Yeah, they're a great site, I've used them / ozgs over 20 times :) I live in Aus so their shipping takes about a week, but it should be pretty quick to anywhere in UK/Europe.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to work out at the moment, on one hand I love having a physical copy, but I'd love to always have TLoU always accessible..

Oh yeah, make sure you grab the one I linked to directly as they're also selling two other versions (UK standard, and UK Day One)

It takes very specific angles and executions with certain weapons to trigger it. You won't see it much if you aren't using shotguns.

It's probably just the camera angle. I remember seeing heads blown off and chunks flying all over the place frequently when I was the executioner/bomber or got hit with a bomb.

I don't remember seeing the helmet rolling off animation (probably cause I rarely wore a helmet) or seeing my character's legs blown off like that while running like in that gif though.

I passed on the multiplayer of the ps3 version, but do really want to get into it on the ps4 - UNCUT! Unfortunately I'm living in EU, so there are some questions to be solved first:
  • Which EU shops do you recommend for the retail NTSC version? And with EU shops, I mean shops that actually dispatch within EU, so customs payments won't arise. I've seen 365games mentioned a couple of times. Are there more options?
  • Will the gore of the mp be turned off when playing the US version (digital/retail) with an EU account (or from an EU IP adress)?
I apologize if these questions have been answered before, but this thread is bumping like crazy and therefore hard to keep up. Maybe they should be added to the OP since many people are in the same situation as I am.

Not even my trusted shops for uncut games here in germany do offer the NTSC version. Spielegrotte.de sells the austrian pegi version as uncut... do I need to say more? Please GAF, help me.

Quick question: will your online multiplayer progress from the PS3 version transfer over, or do I have to earn all of those loadout points again?

I never pay much attention to the kill animations except for one that always stood out. It is the execution with a 2x4 animation. Your character smashes the other not once in the face but twice, and on the second the character on the ground is begging for mercy (hands out and shouting) as the end of the board comes down and just smashes the head in. Brutal.
