I was at my local record shop today, and they were playing the promo of the new Dragonforce CD that comes out in January.

I was talking to my friend Frankie about it, and he told me they just got it today. I stayed there for a good while and listened through a bunch of the tracks while browsing for CDs.

I came away kinda meh from it. The CD is fast as pure hell, but it's not very memorable. There isn't really a stand out song to be heard, and they all end up sounding the same.

I enjoy Sonic Firestorm more. I think it's a better CD all around.

That's no good. Sonic Firestorm has been one of my favorite records of the past couple of months. Does it have any 'Soldiers Of The Wasteland' type choral parts? I loved those.

I'll have to take a listen when it comes out
