I don't get G4TechTV, so are they replaced with two cue card reading bimbos?
Yeah Patrick didn't want to move because his newly-wed doesn't want to leave Frisco, she's still going to school there and everything. I don't think he wanted to leave either really. They still said he's going to be around as a guest from time to time and now he's going to be doing all kinds of writing.
I didn't notice any difference at all in the new screensavers, as long as they keep having interesting people who are relevant to our gaming and tech culture getting interviewed I'm very cool with the new changes(Stan Lee rocked!), in fact, the only seriously new change is the somewhat cramped looking studio, I didn't notice anything else. The new host was a little dull today, but he's likeable, I hope they focus more on news and info, that was the one thing that seemed a little lacking today. The new guy joked around a little too much, but it was his first day so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt too, but that new host really sucked today...I quit watching after about 20 minutes. That guy is trying way too hard to be funny and just came off as annoying.
I like Kevin Rose as a host, and I don't understand why they didn't just use Sarah as the other co-host instead.

That would make for some pretty nasty drama on the site. I personally would have liked seeing them host together for a while longer though, but the funny thing is there were a few days where they both seemed a little tense on the set, not fighting or anything, but they just gave off that funny vibe and this was before I even knew they were together. Having a fight with your girl in the morning and then having to co-host a show with her is pretty fucked up. :lol
The way TSS has been lately though, I just love it. It's really cool how they involve the desk people so much more. To me it doesn't even really make that much of a difference that Sarah and Dan are away from the main desk since they are so active on the show. Remember the old days though? I swear, Megan would get like a few segments, and Morgan was just covered in fucking cobwebs!

And while we're at it, kiss that network goodbye because it's probably the worst I've ever come across in years. What a trainwreck. They should have operated as one company but two seperate networks. It is NOT working out... at all.

Bastards! I thought Leo was on vacation or something, because i saw him on an episode once or twice since i got digital cable a couple months after TechTV/G4 merged together.
The ONLY reason I got the digital package for TechTV/G4 was to watch Leo on a show that was supposedly better than The Site (old ziff davis show on MSNBC before that tabloid princess died and making MSNBC post 24/7 coverage preempting The Site for a week which lead to its cancelation [I think The Site was also one of MSNBC's top rated shows too]).

The old days?? The old days??!!! The old days consisted of Leo and Kate Botello making the best damn computer show ever aired - way before these Morgan and Megan people came around.
I used to have two tapes full of older ScreenSaver shows with the old set and Leo and Kate, and it was great. I loved the show back then, those two worked really well together.

Haha, I think people are confused, Sarah is not the new cohost of TSS. It's some blode haired hyperactive weirdo with an attitude and shitty humor. He annoys the hell out of me and is really a turn off when I'm used to Patrick's rather calm side ... except when you give him a sledgehammer.
Meh, why did the look and feel come of like your average G4 show? the content seems to be pretty much the same, but it just feels so different to watch. Kevin is nice, but it seems like with each season later down the road, things had to become more edgy and hip on the show. It's so meh.

X-Play seems to be a bit different too, but they're still in the process of getting a new studio. The episode last night was all high budget-like with a widescreen format and doing some meaningless skits modelled around X-Files, Reservior Dogs and Kill Bill, before and after game reviews. There wasn't even really an introduction to the reviews either except for a couple games

Just caught the new format today. What the hell have they done to my show? The Screen Savers was the last bastion of quality content left on G4TechTVCompcastUberChannel and now even it is heading to the wayside. If you're going to have a young host, you need to at least contrast it with an old fart (i.e. Leo). I'm sure it's only a matter of time until we get the 'MTV is cool' motion-sickness camera shots we all know and love from X-Play, and recently, new Judgment Day episodes. And what's with the new set? It looks like a rejected Enterprise deck set. Blah, maybe it'll grow on me with time...
While I'm at it, I'm presently torn trying to decide if Sarah is cute and petite or bizarre and dwarfish. She's got a nice rack and a cute face, but I dare say her head is disproportioned with her small body. Maybe it's just me...
