So far it's very good. It's southern Gospel and Soul mixed with a more modern sound.
It has a very unique sound and is still very enjoyable all around.

It reminds me of the Guys Gospel at the end of that one Doobie Brothers song... It has that kind of sound in some of the music.

Jean Grae - This Week
The Legends - Up Against the Legends
The Trail Of Dead - Worlds Apart

Interpol - Antics
Elliot Smith - From a Basement on the Hill
M83 - Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts

I've been busy with assignments all week, so I felt like re-listening to these (requires less attention).

Quick edit:

Take You on a Cruise (off Antics) is unmissable. Favorite track.

Yeah, I agree about "Take You on a Cruise" It's probably my favorite Interpol song after "Leif Erikson" and "Untitled." Easily the best on Antics.

Yup, I'm really starting to get into "Antics". "PDA", "Untitled", and "Leif Erikson" are still my favorites, but the first few tracks on the new CD - especially "Take you on a Cruise" are really good. I haven't listened to the latter half enough to form an opinon of it, but if it's anything like "Turn on the Bright Lights", I'll like the second half better.

Personal Mix, Remodeling a store with high theft crime in the area, one burned cd is so much safer to have in my car than what I normally have.

1.) Hysteria - Muse
2.) Narcolepsy - Third Eye Blind
3.) Fire - The Sounds
4.) Girl on the Wing - The Shins
5.) Darts of Pleasure - Franz Ferdinand
6.) 24 - Jem
7.) Midnight Show - The Killers
8.) We Looked Like Giants - Death Cab for Cutie
9.) Judith - A Perfect Circle
10.) Last Night - The Strokes
11.) Float On - Modest Mouse
12.) Heavy Metal Drummer - Wilco
13.) Just Like Heaven - The Cure
14.) Parkdale - Metric
15.) Pavlov's Bell - Aimee Mann
16.) Street Spirit (Fade Out) - Radiohead

I think I might go pick up that Axis of Justice CD soon, even though Serj Tankian and Tom Morello are probably involved in some sort of secret commi terrorist group.

haha, that song rules.

Also, do you remember Robot? Because that's nearly my favorite song on there... I'm still a sucker for their single, First Day.

EDIT: That Thermals album is outstanding.

I got the Strokes CD right around this time last year. Such a good record. I'm looking to buy "Room On Fire" soon. How does it compare to the first?
