Report says a multiyear agreement with Gameloft for the rights to the hit drama is imminent.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, mobile game publisher Gameloft will announce the signing of a multi-year agreement to make mobile games based on Fox's hit drama The O.C. Gameloft will reportedly announce a multiyear license at the the CTIA trade show in San Francsico. The first O.C.-based game is slated to be released next year. According to the report, the Sims-style game will allow players to take control of one of the show's cast members or create their own O.C. resident. The show joins other big Gameloft-licensed properties including War of the Worlds and King Kong.

I wonder if they'll poke fun at it in the show with Summer playing a mobile "The Valley" game.

Haha, but seriously this game will probably sell a decent ammount on cell phones given the probable advertising.

The Sims and The O.C. are both awfully successful ... I think this could do really well.
