Hm, set up my schedule today at Columbia arts of Chicago. The school gave me free lunch. That was suprisingly great.
Anyway, got Drawing 1(recommended for starting traditional as well as computer animation), Digital Image Developing(recommended for starting computer animation), public speaking, and english comp 1. Lucky to even get drawing 1 though. Lot of stuff was filled, given there were people registering classes a long time ago, but I didn't miss the bus. Probably 200-300 signed up today.... Ah shit, forgot to pick my ID up :lol Seriously, just rembered. What the fuck? Anyway, um.. but yeah, learning life is easier on campus for college. While scheduling with limited possibilites, I realize one day I'd have a class at 11am - 12:15pm, then another at 6:30pm to 10pm if I took that class, consiering there were no other times available. I mean, on campus you go and chill for the rest of the day, play some Xbox live or whatever. With my deal, I have to find out what the hell to do with myself for 5 hours, as I take a 45 minute train ride w/ 15 minutes to get to the stop by car. That's 4 hours knocked off my day with that and it's pointless to double the walking campus building to campus building.
Anyway, but it worked out. Originally went in at 11:30am today for orientation, and stayed till 4 after talks and their slow ass computer internet access while scheduling. Still only came home with 9 hours filled, 3 classes, or 4 as one is split into 2 short classes. One able to be taken online at that. But tonight, I went on to find some type of other class and just my luck, drawing 1 was open, and at not a perfect time but considering I think it's most important, a do-able time.
Tuesday 6:30 - 9:20pm Basic Public Speaking
Wednesday 11:00am - 12:15pm English Comp. #1 (online)
Thursday(the full one) 12:30pm - 3:20pm Digital Image Developing/ 6:30pm - 10pm Drawing 1
Friday 11am - 12:15pm English Comp #1 (in class)
So now I got 12 hours, think that's good enough. Though I could possibly add something to Friday but I think I'll try this first. Hopefully Thursday's I make some fine buddies in the dorms and camp out around rooms. Don't know if it will have a big university atmosphere though. We'll see.
