They should finish up Resident Evil 1.5 and release it as a new "classic". Its not as good as the Resident Evil 2 that was released and i can see why they scrapped it, but its very interesting. Call it Resident Evil 2 Alternate or something.

I'd be interested in the original trilogy. A lot of retro PS1 visuals are making a comeback in the indie space lately. Surprised these weren't up a long time ago, but could be a good time to cash in.

Nah, they are different enough experiences to enjoy separately. I like both for different reasons. Just played to completion both of them and loved both experiences.

The original game is an absolute banger, and people are too quick to forget that.
It's a great game on its own right even today. And no surprise that it started such a huge series.
