LOS ANGELES, July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Oh, Joy! Nicktoons, Nickelodeon's 24- hour animation network, announced today that Ren, the one and only ornery asthma-hound Chihuahua, and his gullible feline sidekick, Stimpy, is back on kids' television for the first time since 2002. Upholding their tradition of crude and rude misadventures from original creator, John Kricfalusi, The Ren & Stimpy Show will premiere on Nicktoons Network beginning August 2005.
Nicktoons Network will present all 3 seasons of the original series. The show is scheduled to air weekdays on Nicktoons at 11:30 p.m. ET and weekends from 11:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m. ET with two back-to-back episodes.
