Didn't watch it, but there's no way a sane person will tell me that the trash ass campaign was good in BF3. It looked good, even extremely good for its time. Some setpieces were also good, but gameplay, the thing that matters, was dogshit. The best campaign in the series was BC1, and even that is like a 7/10 at best. Sell the game for $20 cheaper, don't include the campaign, put more effort into multiplayer polish, and not a single bf fan will complain.

I loved the MP on BF3, so I put more than 1000 hours in.
But the SP campaign was a really bad. Way too scripted, very limited and boring.
At least the campaign in Bad Company games had great jokes and writing to make up for the lackluster gameplay.

Years after the modern Captain Price, Ghost, Soap etc, Battlefield 3 starts with:

Not even 60 seconds into the video and he already says the magic word ("nostalgia"). Damn son, is it not possible to have a discussion about anything that's old without handwaving all the positive components into, oh it's just teh nostalgias.

Do you ever not bitch about everything?

Agreed, it was garbage. The jet mission was completely on-rails, just a shitty imitation of CoD - like so much else in that campaign.

A slightly-interactive movie for a SP campaign. What a failure, don't care how good it looked.

I remember enjoying it. But BF4 campaign was a letdown after that. That and KZSF were my launch ps4 games and both were disappointing. Infamous Second Son was when I felt that I jumped into a new console gen.

Was good, but what really impressed me back in the Xbox 360 was the multiplayer. Damn, that operation METRO still carry the entire game.

Swordbreaker set the tone, and the subsequent levels solidified the strength in their direction.

Thanks to the unfortunate influence of one man with a Dragon Quest slime avatar, this forum has had a handful of people who will come into a thread as quickly as possible (within the first 5-15 posts) to either announce to everyone how much they are not interested, or shit on something within the topic, or derail the topic entirely, or make it about them...sometimes all 4 at once.

And if someone dare speak up about it, they have a bunch of people show up to defend them.

I'll give you no campaign and no multiplayer polish and I'll charge $10 more. Thank me later.
