Love me some Tecno Soft.

A bit off topic but that name also brings me back to the MSX days.

Up there with Xain Soft, T&E Soft and Compile.

I recall holding the box of Genesis thunderforce II back in the days. Then the music and sound. That, along Ghouls n' Ghost, Super Shinobi, Golden Axe and Phantasy Star II was "16-bit".

Nice to see ShmupJunkie get some love here! Great channel that grew/exploded rather rapidly!

Initially I kinda thought it'd be focused on PC Engine/TurboGrafx when I first discovered it based on early content, but that may have just been a silly fanboy preference and much too limiting given his talent and selection of fantastic shooters on other platforms.

So I watched the new episode the other night and was surprised to learn of a Technosoft connection to Gate of Thunder & Lords of Thunder for PCE/TG-16 CD. I more associated/credited those shooters to Red/Hudson Soft and there's already quite the history on the legendary Gate of Thunder soundtrack alone (Duran Duran front-man Simon Le Bon had a friend Nick Wood who together with Simon's wife formed Syn Sound Design/Productions in Japan and this was their effort in composing for the videogame industry! What if part of Duran Duran liked shooters and sat down to compose the music for one? Here's your answer: ).

Sad (and understandable) about the fall of the company, but seems its top talent scattered around and still made positive impact in their craft. If it did take Ilya ~3 weeks of research/time for this one, it was put to effective use (I've seen nearly ~all episodes, this is above average)! (y)
