After searching and searching, last December, I managed to snag a copy of Ecstatica on eBay. It was mailed out to me in december of 2004. After two weeks and it didn't arrive here(NY) from it's destination(TX), I began to wonder what the deal was. I e-mailed the guy I bought it from and he sent me back a tracking number. I tracked the package on their website and it turned out they claim they tried to deliver it a day when I was home all day. I thought maybe they were in a hurry, never bothered to ring my doorbell and didn't even bother to leave a "sorry we missed you" notice(they've pulled crap like this before). I printed out all the info from the website and took it to my post office. The clerk told me they were holding the package but she had no idea where it was now and that it was probably returned to the sender.
So last Wednesday, I get an e-mail from the seller and he says "I know this is going to sound weird, but your package just popped up in my mail marked as unclaimed.". He then sent it to me via FedEX at no charge and a brand new, factory sealed, still in box, shrink-wrapped copy of Ecstatica showed up today. I haven't tried playing it yet as I'm still playing my way through Knights of the Old Republic and Fallout2.
The moral of the story is: The USPS sucks!
