I assumed it would be a shadow drop on GP since its a surprise title. There aren't any big "indies" coming up in late Jan besides MIO. Replaced is 3/12. I guess we'll see.

Can we stop talking about Xbox published games also being in development for ps5 like it's news? I think that ship long since sailed the second Halo was announced. If that is coming then clearly everything else is coming.

Why would it ever end? They have abandoned trying to sell Xbox Series and their next device is a $1000+ PC that would be lucky to sell 10m.

Your mistake here is that you somehow think there is even a multiplatform approach. Better believe that within MS, the PS and PC are now considered the primary platform.

Yeah I mean this is the reason they're going multiplat. The potential userbase just increased 3x.

As of November, Oblivion was still in the top 10 best selling games of the year per Circana. You can't get a year's worth of consistent sales like that just on the first few days of no-reviews.

It's a console with zero identity now.
I've heard from my sources it's a remaster of Morrowind by Virtuous. They've been working on it since 2023 alongside the Oblivion remaster.
Apparently that's why there hasn't been much in the way of updates/bugfixes on Oblivion, the team moved over to assist the Morrowind gang.

I agree with both of you, but I think we're still in a phase of denial. I've still seen people speak and act as if Xbox is going to forge some grand comeback and this nightmare they're living in will end. All things considered, this being the new reality is still a relatively recent development.
I think it will still be a little longer before it just completely settles in. Especially when it comes to games, what few that remain, which were announced before this new status quo hit. Though, as long as Xbox still puts out consoles, there will probably always be a little flicker of hope from die hard fans who will only let go when death embraces them.
Plus, I can't deny that I do enjoy seeing it said again and again with each game that comes out. If for no other reason than knowing everyone who acted like a total jackass while denying it has to eat yet another plate of crow. Which isn't even exclusive to one fanbase.

Xbox game studios is on its way to becoming the biggest 3rd party publisher thanks to activision and Bethesda. And soon Forza + halo coming if the games are good. I think they made the right choice for their buisness. This will make PlayStation and Nintendo bigger gaming brands for sure though as they are the go to platforms for gaming.

it was front loaded. After debuting at 1 in April, at dropping to 4 in May, it disappeared from the top 10 by June, and then the top 20 for the rest of the year.
The only reason it was in the top 10 for May was because it launched so late in April. I believe it was April 23rd so may was its first full month. it had dropped to 16 by June, and then never made top 20 again.
It was literally the worst port on PC since maybe the OG TLOU1 remake. Absolute garbage. Even on consoles. They are all cunts who know exactly what they are doing.
