Alright I took someones tip when I asked how to be a cheap gamer and have sold my xbox and now bought a PS2. So, since GAF is responsible for my new console, I was hoping for some suggestions on cheap games. I already picked up Katamari Damacy for $20 and FF X for $10. I like nearly every genre except sports, and already played through the GTAs on xbox. I would particularly like a good action/adventure game or 2. I know there are a lot to choose from, but that's why I'm asking. It is rather intimdating.

wow thanks, it is great to have a list like that. Almost all are familiar names, but I couldn't remember any of them. Shadow the Hedgehog though, you bastards. Just because I didn't own a PS2 until now does not mean I am mentally deficient. Catwoman...honestly

Get MGS3, without a doubt you HAVE to play this game. However I'll suggest waiting until the Subsistence version out on March 13th. As for RPGs Dragon Quest VIII is a nice choice that will be sure to give you a langthy and very enjoyable experience. If for some reason you've been dead to gaming then pick up RE4, another can't miss title.

Most of dark10x's entries are all excellent as well, there's literally a ton of fantastic games to choose from.
