The black ones look okay but the white ones are pretty HIDEOS in my opinion. Not quite Kobe bad though. Basketball shoes as a whole are just awful now -- I havent worn a pair since middle school.. just "trainers" / lowtops from 9th grade and on when I wisened up and stopped wearing Nikes for ADIDAS.

I can appriciate that work went into designing them, but I can't say I'd ever prefer them over the sleek design and great arch support of sketchers. I love mine, and they're comfortable, but right now they're soaked with Texas rain.

'Chamber of Fear' is the marketing campaign for these Lebron James shoes, the straps on those particular pairs of shoes are promos...the regular shoes come with standard Nike and swoosh ones.

If you guys have seen the commercials, I'd wish they'd have a strap for the shoe that said 'Haters' in Chinese =)

I tried the regular black/white/red Lebron 2s at Niketown the other day, pretty comfy but a little snug.

I think 'striaght fi' is supposed to be 'straight fiyah (fire)'...that's Niketalk jive (along with 'copped'), just as 'FHUTA' is to GAF =P
