These Cheeze-it Grooves are way too addicting!

Holy crap, I've been eating these things for the past week. I know they are not good for me but I can't resist them when I go to the supermarket. They're like the perfect combination between chips and cheeze-its. Personal favorite is sharp white cheddar.

Anyone else caught in this addiction?

Cheez-Its have been dead to me ever since they got rid of Colby and put in that fucking horrible Toasty one instead.

Does anyone remember Cheez-It Crisps? They came in a bag. They were great.

I feel your pain, OP. Not just Cheez-It Grooves, but the entire lineup if Sunshine™ brand snacks has me reach, reach, reaching for the snack bowl. This addiction is killing me.

Have you sucked dick for your next fix? If not, don't fucking talk to me about addiction.

Mission accomplished, OP. I'm going to the supermarket tomorrow and now these are on my list. You can tell the Cheez-It people they've got a sale!

Don't forget they're 100% Real Cheese!

I cannot eat cheddar cheese, as a weird side effect of taking an MAOI. Any kind of aged food, particularly cheese, contains an amino acid that I cannot metabolize. Best case is a massive headache. Worst case is a stroke. Out of all the cheeses, cheddar is the absolute worst.

Early on when I started taking an MAOI, I absentmindedly ate a handful of Cheez-its. When I realized, I got ready to go to the hospital. But no headache came. I can eat as many Cheez-its as I want. Curious, for a product that is supposed to contain 100% real aged cheddar.

Cheeses contain various levels of tyramine content. Obviously cheeseits are are on the very low-end. Perhaps its due to the baking process that it undergoes (I don't believe it does but I don't recall, I was only semi-present during those specific lectures).

MAIOs are crazy though considering things like avocados can even be an issue depending on the the level of ripening (higher tyramine content as it ripens).

I don't care.

I will never care about any Cheese-Its that arent the Toasty brand.

Toasty Cheese It's are the lord's gift to us mortal peons. That it took them this long to release them is mind boggling. Finding a toasty in a bag of regulars was like winning a mini lottery.

Now it's like I can buy a bag of winning tickets!

Right on.

As cheeses go, cheddar is by far the worst. Baking should not alter the tyramine content. My guess is that it's not actually aged at all. I can't eat aged meats, but something like Hormel pepperoni is fine. That is chemically "aged," as opposed to naturally aged. Any sharpness in cheddar Cheez-its is almost certainly from added flavoring, not from bacterial action.

I miss cheddar cheese so damn much.
