I suppose the rapid expanding/contracting as the filament heats up and cools down could shorten the life of the bulb.

Regardless it's fucking annoying, so you probably deserved it if true or not.

Is there any possible way to find out what serial key I entered for my Windows 7 Professional OS?

All the emails I had containing the details were on my student email and unfortunately my university had removed my email privileges now that I have graduated. I've tried a few keyfinder programs online but the ones I tried don't work.

It was stupid of me not to write down the serial key, very stupid.
 
GAF, I walked home at 1PM, was starving, got pretty decent lunch.

At 4PM, I got hungry again so I took an apple but at 5PM, I was starving again (my stomach was hurting, just like if I didn't eat for half a day) so I opened the fridge and eat again a full meal.

It's 9PM, I'm starving the shit out of me. I'm about to take my third of the afternoon (fourth with breakfast) meal while usualy, I don't eat more that one meal plus an apple for an entire afternoon/evenning.

Is it something really wrong ? Am I going to explose (body overdose of ... salt or anything?) Can it be link with poor mood ? (oh I'm looking at you depression, get the fuck out) any idea ? This is really bothering me because I don't eat that much in general and I'm just sucking my fridge dry today.

(food was healty and balanced btw)

I have Windows Vista on my laptop.

I go to school, and they said that for 15 bucks, I can get the upgrade to Windows 7. Not sure which version though.

Sounds like an awesome deal, but do I need it? Is there such a difference between Vista and 7?

Yes. Do it. Do it now. 7 is a massive leap over Vista, performance being the most notable improvement. Try and get the disc and key off them if you can. And make sure it's actually legal first xD
 
Hello friends.

Is there a program/plugin/gadget/whatever for Windows 7 that allows you to access all your sidebar/desktop gadgets at once, like Google desktop? I've only had my new computer/Windows 7 for about a month or so so I'm not fully up to speed yet.

Why whenever I see Avatar playing in 2-d on television in stores it looks almost like a videogame, even when people are on screen? The motion just looks very strange, as if it's more fluid than I'm used to...

How does one remove the expansion pak out of the N64? Also what the heck is the jumper pak for?

My dormmates had an N64 over so I thought I might rummage my old one and bring some stuff over.

I think my wife will LOVE Kinect and Dance Central, but hesitant to plop down the $$$ if the system is nearing the end of it's lifespan.

My bf's niece and nephew were still playing their Gamecube last Christmas.
 
My laptops HDD failed. Should I go with two of these or one of these?
I format regularly and my external drive is almost full, so it might be nice to have a secondary drive, but I don't know if having the faster drive would be better.
 
What's a good, free and fully-fledged antivirus software that won't slow down a fairly modern pc to a crawl? My dad insists on using F-Secure directly from our isp and it's BRUTAL on any kind of performance. 1.8 or 3.6ghz, makes no difference. This antivirus/firewall is a killer! :lol He's convinced that free programs are less good at what they do yet won't pay for anything. Normally I wouldn't care but I have to use this pc for the rest of the week and it's fucking torture! :lol :'( He has more computer security than his work place (military base) >_<

Microsoft Security Essentials is more secure than any paid service. Also very lightweight.

Has anyone been seeing religious posters with Bear Grylls on them? I've seen a couple on the highway in front of churches and in my neighborhood in front lawns (I'm guessing that they go to those churches). But the signs say "is there more to life" and have a picture of Bear Grylls on them so I am somewhat confused.
