How are candy cigarettes still legal? I was in a gas station this week and saw some at the counter by some other candy and started thinking about it. I used to get them all the time when I was kid, but that was the 80s. The 80s were a different time than now. It was okay to smoke back them. There wasn't such an anti smoking crusade. I'm surprised some group hasn't said that the candy cigarettes encourage kids to smoke while they're young and tried to have them banned.
 
Could someone tell me the name of the duo in the new Hyundai Holidays commercial? Its a guy and a girl. The guy seems to play instruments and the girl sings "Up On the Housetop". Her singing sounds familiar but I can't place it.

They aren't called candy cigarettes anymore and company's can't produce boxes that look like actual packs. So they're pretty much just dip sticks.
 
I know this is probably a FAQ, but is there a gaming version of this thread? Or is it okay for me to ask a question about a game here?

It's less of a game question and more of a 'my computer just won't run this wtf' kinda question.

Same thing applies to the signature lines on checks. I don't know what it says exactly and I don't exactly have a magnifying glass handy.
 
All right, so I've had over 300 posts for a while, so I really should be a full member by now. I'm guessing it's the World Cup flag that's keeping me at Junior status. Who should I contact about this? I mean, I can create threads and all, it's mostly a tag issue at this point.
 
Wow. This (super cheap :lol) webcam I bought only works in Windows Vista and below apparently.

Fuck.

Ok, I bought an HP laptop with Vista preloaded. I had to create my own dvd's as a recovery cd.

I recently found out I was able to download Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade from my school, so I did and burned it onto a dvd.

So I am running 7 right now, but I really want to reformat. My laptop needs a refreshing after like a year and a half. If I reformat, how do I do it? I reformatted before, and I just inserted my Vista cd's and my laptop reformatted itself.

So If I reformat I would have to install Vista again, and then 7 on top of it? Guess I can't skip straight to 7?

All guys do a "normal" handshake to me.

What I'm wondering is what kind of handshake does a guy want in return from a woman?

Now that you mention it I do think I go easier on women. But my "normal" handshake is very firm.

Definitely half shake. Most women just seem to be fine with making contact with hands in a handshake, whereas dudes seem to be about crushing each others hands to show dominance. :lol
 
GAF! I canceled my cable today and Comcast said they were coming out to put a "blocker" on so I couldn't get channels. Does that mean I can't hook my cable straight into my TV and get the regular broadcast channels?

I am a n00b [when it comes to OTA TV broadcasts]! I don't know about non-digital cable since the digital broadcast switch. Do I need to buy a basic set of antenna/digital converter box?

You'll need an antenna from now on. As to whether you need a converter box, it depends on whether your TV has its own tuner or not.

Just boot to the W7 DVD and choose the custom install option, then choose the drive that you want to format and reinstall W7 on.
e: Do a google search if you've never actually done a format before. It's been a couple months and I don't remember the exact steps off the top of my head.
 
How do I set my ebay/paypal account to not pay automatically? Usually I have no issue with this but I want to buy something locally off ebay and could do without the $37 shipping fee.

I'd really appreciate an answer asap, the auction ends in 40 minutes!

Comcast is required by law to provide the local OTA channels un-encrypted over clear-QAM, nothing more. In my area it's a digital signal, so if your tv has a tuner (ATSC) you will get the locals, or you can use a clearQAM tuner, like an HDhomerun. I went from antenna to comcast clear QAM and it's SOOOO much better, the antenna was a pain.

I've never had a dainty handshake from a guy like I've had from girls though.

Deist. Maybe.

Deism is more complicated than that, but it does involve the abstraction of the God posited by organised religious doctrine.
