I liked Pokemon back in the days of the original, but I really dislike just how many damn new ones they keep adding. All the originals were pretty inspired, well designed and unique in their own way, so not true for the newer versions, IMO.

Well, that, and they keep sitting on the 1986-era mechanics of the game. Game needs a serious 2005 lift. But hey, I guess it's working for them, why rock the boat.

Ladies and gentleman we have another G/S era upon us in the PKMN department.

Of the 5 known new POKéMON only 1 of them is new. The rest are pre or post-evo's.

R/S on the other hand had only 2 new "babies" and 0 new post/side evolutions.

I can safely say we'll be getting less "new" PKMN in G4 then we did in G3.

Not really. I prefer new new as opposed to retrash. Sneasel can be a big bitch as it is anyway so what does it need an evolution for? And all the babies are there for is to fill in space. Unless they're bringing back Stadium and the "Little Cup" I'd take evolutions over babies cause at least evo's improve on a PKMN.

If anything, it'll make the generation for the next GBA that much more special. I'm of the opinion that we need generations that expand upon the older ones. They wouldn't be worse than some of the immitation Pokemon like Wurmple or Tailow. I think it's good we took a slightly different direction than all out introduce another new set of Pokemon.

Yeah, I don't know what the complaining is all about. Expanding on Snorlax, Sudowoodo and Mr. Mime, plus a Steel/Fighting type? Sounds like great work to shore up the lineup so far.

The next Pokemon game needs to be just like the previous games, only with strategy-RPG combat; 6-on-6 battles. Honestly, it would be perfect for the series.

Imitation? Like most POKéMON these "imitations" are based on real-life critters. And just like in real-life most cannot be found in the same region of the world or even country. Pidgey & Taillow are the same type and are both birds but with different abilites and movesets things balance out.

What expansion? First of all, babies are a pain in the ass to get for the most part. And secondly having a baby form will not increase the max stat potential for their evolutions.
