Thunderforce II Question.

When you start the game, there's a voice that I assume is giving you some words of encouragement, but it sounds like "rarararinfire, goodluck"

What the hell does that voice say?

It's right when you hit start, there's a screen that says "game start" or something, then it fades into the first level.

My best guess is "initiate the ladder - good luck".

I can't find anything close to an answer from any other pages I searched on it, too, but I'll blame my lack of Japanese knowledge on that one.

haha. I totally started this same topic about 3-4 months ago, but didn't know the name of the game at the time. A Thunderforce expert chimed in and said he had no idea what the hell was being said...so I think it shall forever be a mystery.

I swear I could never figure this out. My friends and I always said something like "Negede Boogede, nada, good luck." :lol

Truly one of the great gaming mysteries.

whatever is being said, it sounds different in the X68000 version, which BTW, is a must-play. TFII was born on the X68000 in 1988 not the Genesis/MD (console TFII: 1989) never knew this until a couple of years ago.
