Atwood: Really. That’s interesting. I would say 9:30 in the morning on Tuesday of E3 will be filled with surprises and I would just show up. Because there’s been a ton of speculation. What About That Final Secret?

Miyamoto and Iwata have hinted at a final secret for Wii that has yet to be revealed. And while we don't have all the details, we've heard that what's in store is exciting indeed -- secrets of a rather revolutionary nature, with some rather cool implications for gaming. I think Wii will have a built-in camera further putting the emphesis on the "we" factor by connecting players more personally. Think about the "hint" that's been dropped in a couple of places recently...the talk about how the system may not even need the sensor bar anymore. Now the name Wii is also a sort of hint. This explains why the front panel flap is so big, it houses some sort of camera I bet!

The company also touted Wii's two-format disc drive. "Instead of a tray, a single, innovative, self-loading media bay will play both 12-centimeter optical discs used for the new system as well as Nintendo GameCube discs. Owners will have the option of equipping a small, self-contained attachment to play movies and other DVD content."

Does this mean DVD-ROM features can be accessed as well?
