It's not so much about screwing it up with modern garbo but really comes down to execution of an early 90's kids/adult comedy which Tiny Toons was. The Animaniacs reboot sucked moreso for me because of the cheapie flash animation, poor writing and seemingly like something whipped up overnight with 10 person production team.
Tiny Toons had writers like Sherri Stoner, Tom Reugger, Eddie Fitzgerald, Paul Dini and many others who are likely long retired.
OG had some relatively creative animators, layout artists, key animators, directors, storyboard artists and even certain episodes outsourced for rough draft with high-end JP studios (when most were reliant on budget Taiwanese or Korean studios for outsourcing)
The voice actors have aged and may end up coming back for cameos or not at all.
Overall, it was pen, paper, cel and real film animation. You will never get that aesthetic from digi-2D and a team of people who can just copy + paste textures and layouts on drawing tablet.
The target for this would be Tiny Toon franchise fans and people who only look through the nostalgia lens but aren't concern with practical cinematic quality which had been gone for a couple decades now.
